Healthy People Healthy Places Strategies
We believe pursuit of the Healthy People Healthy Places strategies will support the Foundation’s goal of improved well-being and prosperity of people and place. Listed below each strategy are examples of practices that grantees might employ.
We do not expect that all of these strategies and practices will be relevant to or employed by every organization seeking funding from the Foundation, nor is this list exhaustive. We include it for those who may find it useful in thinking about how their work may fit with that of the Foundation. What is essential is that the strategies are used in combinations that benefit both people and the environment.
